Botulinum and Hyaluronic Acid - What else?

Wrinkles are treated with Botulinum injections. This treatment demonstrates the most effective efficacy in reducing dynamic wrinkles such as frown lines, forehead wrinkles, and laughter lines. Other facial areas can also be treated with this active ingredient. The injection is administered intramuscularly using very fine needles. Initial results can be seen as early as three days, with the final outcome appearing after about ten days. The duration of action averages four to five months. It depends on individual metabolic factors and environmental factors and can therefore vary individually. The risks of wrinkle treatment with Botulinum involve common and transient reactions such as redness, swelling, and bruising. Other more serious complications are very rare. To ensure the longest possible duration of efficacy, it is recommended to avoid sauna or solarium visits immediately after treatment, as well as to avoid intense physical activities.

Hyaluronic acid, unlike Botulinum, is a natural component of our body and a remarkable volume-enhancing molecule that has no effect on muscular activity and therefore does not cause changes to dynamic wrinkles.

Primarily, hyaluronic acid is used in the middle to lower face area to restore lost volume and shape and contour the face. It is particularly effective in the early signs of aging by restoring youthful volume and achieving a slight tightening effect.

Furthermore, hyaluronic acid can be used in mesotherapy to improve skin quality and reduce small, dryness-related wrinkles, due to its outstanding ability to bind moisture and give the skin a radiant glow.

The combined use of Botulinum and hyaluronic acid provides a holistic solution for a youthful appearance and improved skin quality. While Botulinum reduces muscular activity, thus minimizing the formation of dynamic wrinkles, hyaluronic acid fills lost volumes, contours the face, and improves skin moisture. Together, they provide comprehensive anti-aging results. This synergistic effect allows for effectively addressing the individual needs of each person.

Alternatives to these treatments include PRP and laser treatments, as well as chemical peels. However, these are primarily intended for smaller static lines and wrinkles and typically do not show comparable efficiency in wrinkle reduction.
